Just found this outstanding website with wonderful links and wisdom by almost all of my favourite teachers :-)
Have recently read his book and found it most inspiring and helpful - check out the website by clicking the link :-)
Recently, at a silent retreat in India they played this music before our Satsangs. My whole being would fill with peace and I recall it so vividly when I listen to it now - enjoy ♥♥♥
But your solitude will be a support
and a home for you,
even in the midst of very
unfamiliar circumstances,
and from it you will find all your paths.
― Rainer Maria Rilke
This is just the most wonderful site and every Tuesday they have an interview with a Sage live. There are also many in the archives. There is a link called “Arunachala” that has the song Sri Arunachala Aksharamanamalai which is sung in the evenings in Ramana Ashram and was sung by Ramana Maharshi often. It stirs me everytime I listen to it - Thank you SOOOOOO much for your wonderful site John Troy ♥
Love expects no reward. Love knows no fear. Love Divine gives - does not demand. Love thinks no evil; imputes no motive. To Love is to share and serve.
The stages of meditation - If you are a meditator you will love this :-)
” You are the One which is aware of your awareness…of objects and ideas…You are the One which is even more silent than Awareness…You are the Life which precedes the concept of life…your nature is Silence and it is not attainable…It always Is…” Papaji ♥
”The flowering of Presence from within is like the mustard seed that Jesus spoke of. At first it seems small and delicate. But if it is nurtured, the roots of Presence go deeper and deeper into the earth, and the branches of Presence reach higher and higher into the sky. Then the wind blows, the rain falls, but it is impossible to shake you out of Presence.” -Leonard Jacobson
Through the portals of silence the healing sun of wisdom and peace will shine upon you. — Paramahansa Yogananda
Place your burden at the feet of the Lord of the Universe, who accomplishes everything…remain all the time steadfast in the heart, in the Transcendental Absolute…God knows the past, present and future…he will determine the future for you, and accomplish the work…what is to be done will be done at the proper time, don’t worry…abide in the heart and surrender your acts to the divine…- Ramana Maharshi
O Mother! O Embodiment of Om! Mother, how many things people say about Thee! But I don’t understand any of them. I don’t know anything, Mother. I have taken refuge at Thy feet. I have sought protection in Thee. O Mother, I pray only that I may have pure love for Thy Lotus Feet, love that seeks no return. And Mother, do not delude me with Thy world-bewitching maya. I seek Thy protection. I have taken refuge in Thee. - Ramakrishna Paramahamsa
